The residence was first designed in the 30s by Eseme de Silva, Helga's Mother. This is a unique and most over-the- top hotel in Kandy, Sri Lanka. This is converted into the Chalet Hotel by Helga's parents but now over some decades Helga named this as Helga's Folly.
Visiting this place looks like a living memorial of spirits who lived on the top floor , The decors and furniture used in this house gives you a truly spooky feeling as Hollywood horror movies.
2) Lover's Leap
This is top most nice waterfall in Sri Lanka , this actually have a breathtaking scenes.
In here most of people supposed that spirits of the couple who dived to their deaths here,locals also avoid visit this place after the nightfall.
The waterfall is about 30 m and lies about 3.5 km away from NuwaraEliya. This is also called as romantic folklore.
3) Telecom Building
This building was built in 1911 which is situated in Lotus Road in Fort and Chatham Street.
The building was destructed after the bombing in 1989. after the bombing incident the reclamation procedure was completed for quite long while in a particular way to ensure the building stayed in its unique design.
